Course Objectives - This week long course is designed for second level students and adults wishing to have a fuller understanding of how to approach a portfolio. They will learn how to develop ideas through the creative process and learn how to create a body of work based upon direct observation, research, invention and possible solutions.

All facilitators are Garda vetted. Camp is subject to numbers.

What's it all about?

This week long course is designed for second level students and adults wishing to have a fuller understanding of how to approach a portfolio. They will learn how to develop ideas through the creative process and learn how to create a body of work based upon direct observation, research, invention and possible solutions.

This course is suitable for anyone interested in making art but particularly students wishing to begin a portfolio.

After this course students will be familiar with the art courses on offer throughout the country and their portfolio requirements. They will have the confidence to build upon the ideas and work developed this week for their portfolio and be more familiar with current art practice.


All tutors are qualified, Garda vetted with several years previous experience in successful portfolio preparation.
