peripheries “creATuRe” (2 - 5 August 2024)

Exhibition opens on August 2nd at 6-9pm. Exhibition continues until August 5th.

peripheriesPAIR is a curatorial project that starts with an invitation…and then another… 

Four artists – Tamara Gangnus, Olivia Normile, Patrick Redmond,  Ciara Roche – were invited to invite an artist they wished to collaborate with in the development of ideas and artworks (existing or in progress) for an exhibition at Periphery Space in August 2024.

The pairing of artists challenges, splits and displaces the singular idea of cultural production from the seat of individualism to the couch of collaboration.

Accompanying the exhibition is a screen-printed zine, acting as an alternative exhibition space, composed of images and text that record the correspondence that took place between the paired artists. The zine will be available to purchase exclusively at the opening.

To round off what is a weekend of contemporary art, several films will be selected by the artists and Sara Redmond and screened in our dedicated cinema.
